Pamela Hetherington is an authentic Philadelphia artist who has devoted a lifetime, thirty plus years, to her art, her work and the communities in which she serves. She is an internationally-recognized leader in the fields of tap dance and jazz music and has been connecting jazz music and tap dance for audiences in Philadelphia for over 10 years. She has been presented by Jazz Bridge, The Philadelphia Jazz Project, Creative Philadelphia, ArtYard, Symphony Space and more and has played with many Philly jazz musicians; her house band is always led by Tim Brey. A native of Northeast Philadelphia and a fourth-generation Philadelphian, Philly dance and tap dance in particular is part of her DNA. She performed and toured with Tap Team Two from 1996-2012 and has also been a key part of ongoing legacy projects with Heather Cornell, Dorothy Wasserman, Jane Goldberg and Germaine Ingram.
